Add Friends in Mario Kart Tour –  Can you add?

Yes, but the friend’s program is only available since you complete the Yoshi Race.

So, if you were trying to add friends before completing the Yoshi Race, you simply can’t. Complete the Yoshi race and you will unlock the ranking system and you will be able to add friends.

Add Friends in Mario Kart Tour –  How?

Right now you can only invite friends via Friend code or id, a 12 digit code or id you can find in the friends section.

Once you unlock the rankings, go to rankings > Friends tab > Add Friend. Then ask your friend’s code and invite him / her, or send your code or id to your friend to be invited.

Once you send a friend request, the one who receives the request has to accept it. And he or she wont’t be your friend until the request is accepted

Add Friends in Mario Kart Tour –  Multiplayer

The Multiplayer mode is not yet fully developed. You can view how your friends are doing compared to you, and also see their nicknames. But we have to wait until the multiplayer comes out to compete against our friends in the same track, or to be able to party up and jump into matches.

The estimated release date for multiplayer mode is October 2019
