There are 209 hospitals within 30 miles of San Mateo and more than 2,000 in San Mateo County, according to CNN Money. U.S. News /World reports also pay attention to San Mateo. It claims the city is one of the best places in the nation for a Democrat to retire. The publication points out that Democrats out new Republicans so much that you can rest assured that the stranger you touch shares your political views, assuming you lean to the left.
The claim that Berkeley is a good place to retire for a Democrat is evident. However, U.S. News / World Report named it one of the country’s most “minded” places to retire. Of course, Berkeley is home to the University of California politically active at the Berkeley facility. According to U.S. News & World Report, the city also offers other intellectual activities, including organic farming and self-reflexology events.
